If Paramount is smart (and they may not be, since LOVE GURU was their "big hit comedy" last year) they won't pre-screen DANCE FLICK.

But whether they do or don't pre-screen it, here's an R.T. LINK to see if it merely gets mangled...or gets outright slaughtered once crix do see it...

So far 42 percent. Not bad, though not worse either.

Well, comparing it to the spoof movies, that's a fantastic thing. They're usually about 40% lower!

Wow, it's sinking like the stock market! RT now has it at 24% on the
Tomatometer!

I love their consensus:

Dance Flick scores a few laughs thanks to the Wayans brothers'
exuberance, but it’s ultimately a scattershot collection of gags without much
direction.

Do I smell some RAZZIE nominations a-coming to the Wayans Bunch...again!

I think the Wayans should just have a reserved spot on the Razzies Ballot every year... just like Seltzerberg, and Uwe Boll... Perhaps the they could all compete for the same prize "Biggest waste of space"

What's sad about them is they're NOT talentless. Marlon has actually had some decent roles, and he's supposed to be the worst. I've mostly liked Damon, and Keenan's been solid. I think they just get lazy and stoop to what they think is gonna make money. Don't Be a Menace in South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood is a CLASSIC.

Oh wow, I'm a little slow this week... I didn't even notice the perhaps unintentional "No I in Team" joke in the title of this forum. Now there is no I in Review...

And sadly, dEd, I have yet to see a Wayans role or movie, that just didn't cause me to lose faith in cinema for a short time...

Scary Movie 1 was decent. Damon's had a goodish movie or two... I'm sure of it. Can't think of one, but I'm sure it's happened.

The first Scary Movie may have been the best of the lot, but that is much like saying that the first Saw movie was the best of the lot. Considering the complete and utter crap that followed, being better doesn't really amount to much.

I enjoyed the first Saw, I'm just saying that calling it the best in the series doesn't really mean much, since the rest of the series was complete crap. And that doesn't stop them from making more every damn year... At least Scary Movie had the decency to stop...

The lack of BO to stop, I think.
And yes, I've seen an IMDB page for Saw VI.

Major Payne is the only Damon Wayans movie that I found funny, It had me
laughing all the way thru it!

Major Payne was another one of those movies that I liked, but the kids in it drove me nuts. They usually do. The one thing I really liked about Role Models is that the kid didn't start annoying me until the very end.

The kid in Role Models was one of the best parts of that movie. The stuff that came out of that kid's mouth was just so shocking you almost had to laugh.
