Or maybe both of them have made a very bad movie choice? Many talented actors do that, you know...

Everyone makes mistakes. Although, to be far, this isn't the worst film with the best cast. That belongs to "Evening". Not just because "Evening" had a better cast, but "Evening" was, proplably, worse. I haven't seen this yet.

Cool! Roger Ebert actually liked this movie: Here's a LINK to read his review. Yes, he suspended his disbelief, and says it doesn't matter if it's perposterous...the movie actually works.

My major problem with this film would be that I, as an audience, am supposed to hope that Gayden survives.

What were the producers thinking???

The worst point is, if three surgeons wanted to kill their patient during surgery, the patient would be dead.  Any other outcome would not be easy to go along with.

Mind you, I woke up during angioplasty.  I tried twice to sit up and see the monitor, and they kept putting me back down.  Then I woke up again, and they were transferring me to another room because the room where they were performing the surgery lost power.  I thought I dreamed the whole thing because I was flying higher than a kite.  But after the procedure, one of the nurses mentioned something, and I blurted out, "It really did happen?"  I later apologized to my cardiologist for sitting up during the procedure, not that I was in my right frame of mind at the time.

So, I don't have any problem believing what happened to Christensen's character, having experienced something akin to that, although I obviously wasn't paralyzed nor fully aware.  I just have a problem with the premise.  It would take some pretty convincing acting AND a solid, acceptable plot twist to keep me engaged.  And from the reviews I read, Christensen and Alba are not convincing.

Queen of Toad, I'm just gonna wing it and guess that your favorite part of "Revenge Of The Sith" was when Gayden Christianf*g got dismembered, then lit on fire?!?

I think we could cover both scenes in the last 20 minutes of Sith.  I wonder if that's too long to post on YouTube? . . .

Once again Wizguy, we all respect Roger Ebert, and he has given some great reviews, but he's not the be-all, end-all, as far as movie opinions are concerned. The man has admitted that one of his favorite actresses is Jennifer Lopez...........JENNIFER LOPEZ! Two and a half stars to Gigli, one star to Blue Velvet, oy.

Nah. That was haydensucks' favourite moment.

Just a little off-topic here and I know I am going to get bashed here and some will say that I lose my legitimacy to ever attend this forum again, however, I liked "Revenge of the Sith". I liked the production design (or whatever you call it when it's CG), I liked the music and I thought that Evan McGregor and Ian McDiarmid did a good job. But some other elements were unforgivable, like bad monologues and some other things that don't need to be mentioned. But the movie itself was beautiful to look at. And, of course, I adore John Williams' music.

Back to topic again. Now, does Gayden suck badly or just suck this time?

Ewan McGregor and Ian Mcdiarmid were both good in Revenge of The Sith, in my opinion also.

Roger Ebert is just one critic. Plus, Ebert gave "The Number 23" and "Redacted" positive reviews.

Actually, Ebert never reviewed "The Number 23" (directed by my nemisis). Roeper did and, for some reason, liked it.

Jessica Alba deserves some sort of special achievement prize for giving three Razzie-worthy performances in one year!

Don't worry, Mizz Alba will certainly be listed for her three "efforts" on our 2007 Nominating Ballot, which will be mailed December 28. You'll have to wait 'till January 21 to find out if she's made The Golden (RAZZIE®) Inner Circle, though!

Well apparently, the lovely Miss Alba is pregnant, there goes her greatest "strength" as an "actress" (her body). Bloody hell, now it really is going to be a while before Sin City 2 gets made!

Response from Head RAZZberry: Unless they replace Alba with any of the 237 blonde bimbos with whom she's arguably interchangeable...and/or re-write her character as being pregnant (which is unlikely with the WGA Strike looking like it might last 'till NEXT Christmas)!

The first "Sin City" didn't use any writers. Robert Rodriguez used the graphic novel as a template and adapted it all from there.
