I just chose Optimus, because I've hated Bumblebee since an early age... and I think I will always hate Bumblebee... damned Bumblebee....

Or worse yet, that... Mummy-guy. I don't even wanna learn his name. Does anyone else remember how horrible Van Helsing was? And how bad GI Joe is going to be? That guy needs to be the butt of more of our jokes. As Mummyguy.

Mummyguy deserves to be the butt of many jokes.. But I think the first step is learning his name...Stephen Sommers shall be his name... And it shall be a name of the damned.

... Is that the real name? It would be more fun if it wasn't, because that's fairly easy to remember, and I could work with that. I like Stephen "Mummyguy" Sommers.

Stephen Sommers was the name listed on IMDB... So unless he uses a pseudonym to hide his true identity, that would be his real name.

Maybe Stephen Sommers is the new Alan Smithee. Since they don't use that anymore.

I've only seen the Alan Smithee credit used once, to my knowledge, and whatever movie it was, it was actually fairly decent. My mind was blown.

you've actually seen an Alan Smithee? I can't think of a time when I've seen one, but then again, I don't think I've ever really looked hard...

It's a fruitless effort to research on IMDB, really. It lists all of the real directors with the AKA, and you get a ton of results.

Research on the IMDB can often feel fruitless... I think it just might be the nature of the beast.

I usually do fairly well with what I want to find. I'd hardly say that it would be like looking through the Land of the Lost.

I should ride around on a Segway and call myself the Segue King. Then I'd have an excuse to beat the living sh....crap out of Paul Blart.

I heard he's also eyeing "The Smurfs". Can you imagine Papa Smurf driving a mini Hummer through Smurf Village as all the little houses blow up?

Now that you mention it, I can actually picture Papa Smurf cruising in a mini hummer as the village blows up, possibly due to a rocket lancher fired by Gargamel....
