I just sneaked a peek at what I would like to officially christen
"One of, or possibly THE GREATEST HORSE-ASS MOTION PICTURE EMBARRASSMENTS OF ALL HORSE-ASS MOTION PICTURE EMBARRASSMENTS IN FILM HISTORY," 'Epic Movie' over at MySpace.com, as suggested above. ![]() That's just my opinion. The 50 Biggest Hollywood Disasters are found in Premiere Magazine. But thank God, I wasn't listening to the film trailer when I was listening to Alfred Newman's musical soundtrack for "The Greatest Story Ever Told." Even if someone came along, gagged me, and held me up at gunpoint for a measly nine dollars and wanted it so bad just to let them see this disgusting BS film, I wouldn't. "Epic Movie," "Date Movie" and every other so-called spinoff 'Movie' that comes to theaters (AND REALLY SHOULDN'T) just belongs in a forgotten grave with the names Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer right next to them! And yes, I could also mention some guy named Milchan for green-lighting this inexcusable piece of s@#$! ![]() I hope you hear me well, John, because I think this bodes me enough to probably join the G.R.A.F. next year and raise my opinion to these jokers. I took a class in screenwriting this past year at Mesa Community College and now I'm continuing to understand in all the Certified Fresh Rotten Tomatoes films I see in theatres, (avoiding the rotten ones) why Hollywood probably needs a recession of its own. Or writers with new directions for greater ideas in the continuing growth of films made for both the critic and audience. BTW Just got back from "The Prestige." A TRUE example of how a film should be done. Lawrence (Brian) Schwartz. |

This movie looks like it will be bad, but not as bad as this year's venture from "two of the six writers of scary movie": Date Movie (definitely not a movie to take your date to).
Date Movie badly deserves a Worst Screenplay nomination, and from the looks of it, Epic Movie will probably deserve one, too. |

The second is "Happilly N'Ever After" based on the german TV show. Proving once again that Germans...okay, it was made by the British with an American cast. Still sucks.

It appears that Hollywood's assault on the holiday season will continue in 2007, with the release of Fred Claus, a movie about Santa's jealous brother.

All I can ask for, is that this film doesn't totally destroy the career of Crispin Glover. Hell, I mean his good performance in Willard made me forget about Back To The Future (Which, don't get me wrong, he was also good in), and start thinking that he would be the next Anthony Perkins (Yeah, I consider that a good thing). We now have no one to bring the good horror performances.......well except Tobin Bell........and R. Lee Ermey....... and of course Robert Englund, Lance Henriksen, and Brad Dourif. Ok, maybe the horror situation isn't as bad as I thought. I feel much better now.
