The Four Horsemen of the Moviepocalypse: uncalled for sequels/remakes/reboots, 3-D surcharges, untalented "celebrities", and anything with Michael Bay's name attached to it.

I can't believe it took you so long to nominate Seltz-berg.
Why didn't they win?

Actually, that paragraph speaks the truth about what is wrong with Seltzerberg's movies. But I'm a little confused; is moat telling himself to shut up? |

Did Friedberg and Seltzer create Disaster Movie so they would have two shots at Worst Picture and Worst Remake or Ripoff? Meet the Spartans might be shut out from Worst Picture by Meet Dave, The Love Guru, The Hottie and the Nottie, and Postal -- but it still has a chance of getting nominated.

Yeah, I knew that The Blair Witch project was nominated for Razzies but I never knew it won, especially for Heather winning because I thought she pulled off one of the best performances in these types of movies. Anyway, I recently saw Blair Witch and I loved it. Well, I also loved Cloverfield. I love both movie and I can't say which is better. I mean, Bliar Witch was great with critics but kinda polarized by audiences. Here's my review for it (8/10): I finally saw this film since it came out in 1999 because I was waiting to buy the DVD for a cheap price. Well, I bought it after I saw "Cloverfield," "Diary of the Dead," and "Rec." Fortunately, that didn't ruin the film for me. here's my review for Cloverfield (also an 8/10): With an ingenious trailer from J.J. Abrams himself, along with clever marketing, all of us can assume that the film may not be as good as the trailer and marketing. Well, we were wrong. Not only is the film as clever as the trailer, it's also a lot of fun! It's nice to see a great film in January, don't you agree? Oh, and [Rec] (which I explained in the Mirrors thread) is THE BEST POV camera type film. If you haven't seen it, watch that NOW! Oh, and the worst POV camera movie I've seen so far is Diary of the Dead. Now that was a horrible film with bad performances. |

Cloverfield began losing my attention after the first five minutes, few
characters that we care about fully establish themselves by the time the terror occurs, and I will admit that I jumped several times while watching it, but that's not the same as actually being scared, something The Blair Witch Project was a master at doing in my opinion, because it knows that leaving the terror to the imagination is scarier than actually seeing it on film; any 4-year-old can tell you that. |

"The Blair Witch Project" was done poorly. I didn't feel scared once through the whole piece of crap. Heather Donahue deserved her Razzie. "Cloverfield" was great I jumped a bunch of times. |

I can honestly say anyone who thinks that a movie that copies just about every plot element of The Blair Witch Project to be better than it has absolutely no good taste in movies. |

Fox needs to stop funding retards like Seltzerberg and barely finding geniuses like Mike Judge. "Idiocracy" and "Office Space" hardly got any marketing. Judge has a new movie with Jason Bateman. I hope they market it well.

I know. People should watch "Idiocracy." It's not far off from being a documentary, in my opinion.

I was reading a dvd review of this and discovered something rather sad. 20th Century Fox gave the duo 30 mill to make the movie and released it widely. However, Fox has also helped develop Idiocracy, a film which actually included talented and well respected actors (Luke Wilson, Justin Long, Terry Crews, Thomas Hayden Church) and also made by Mike Judge who made such shows as Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill and made the cult movie Office Space. However, this never got released to more then 130 cinemas and got about 443 thousand back from a ten million budget.

If "Disaster Movie" is as bad as I think it will be, I may have to change my name to SeltzerbergH8ter. This film only had four scenes that I found funny. 1.) Carmen reads a review this on Ain'tItCoolNews, 2.) Kevin Sorbo takes down Rocky Balboa (playing the uber-immortal) by injecting him with botox, 3.) during the end credits, Nicole Sullivan impersonates Ellen DeGenerous and says, when no one luaghes at her jokes,: "Wow, this is like the audience of 'Mr. Wrong'"., and 4.) the Dane Cook part. The reason I, especially hated this was because for those four funny parts, there was 37 failed jokes with each. The two that were most unfunny, were when the penguin attacked Leonidas, he said: "Say hello to Anna Nicole for me." and the Ghost Rider, which made me shout "What the f*ck?". This nominations for Worst Picture, Director, Supporting Actress (Nicole Sullivan), Screenplay, Screen Couple (Sean Maguire and Carmen Electra), and Remake or Rip-Off. |

Seltzer and Friedberg (or as I call them, "Schumacher's Appentices") next movie will be a parody of "Superbad", "Hancock", "Sex And The City", and "The Love Guru" called "Goody Two Shoes". The link to the story is called SuperBAD Movie |
