Huh? That's odd..... I thought Rush Hour 3 got three nominations? It was said here.

Elizabeth Hartman and Judith Barsi are much more talented and beautiful than Scarlett Johansson and Chloe Grace Moretz. Fact. |

IMDb.com's listing of awards for movies and casts/crews are the few bits of data that you can trust on that site (not so much the fan's reviews and forums). After the Esmeralda Spalding incident, I wouldn't trust Wikipedia for your entertainment information.

The Four Horsemen of the Moviepocalypse: uncalled for sequels/remakes/reboots, 3-D surcharges, untalented "celebrities", and anything with Michael Bay's name attached to it.

2007. This was James Bond's year, but the closest we came to a Bond film that year was the DVD release of Casino Royale, theatrically released in November 2006... and Casino Royale getting nominated for OSCARs and Golden Globes at the beginning of the year. Films that should've been RAZZed, but didn't: 4
Alvin & the Chipmunks
Delta Farce
The Comebacks
The Seeker: The Dark is Rising
Films that got RAZZed, but shouldn't have: 3
National Treasure: Book of Secrets //I don't recall ever seeing a forum for this, despite the negative reviews
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End //At least it wasn't The Curse of the Black Pearl, but you should've saved your vitriol for On Stranger Tides if you wanted to RAZZ a Pirates of the Caribbean film!
Transformers 1 //Unlike the sequels, which people generally agreed were sucky, 3 out of 5 people, including I, were for, instead of against, the first Transformers film.
Films that got RAZZed to the wrong degree: 0
Worst Trends/Events of 2007:
IV. Even more sects battered by boring dramas and unfunny comedies (Ex. September Dawn, Evan Almighty)
III. One person in one film taking on multiple roles, and it comes crashing down (Norbit is among the worst, but definitely not the first, example of 3 roles by 1 actor in 1 film.)
II. The rise of the gratuitous subgenre Teen Torture Porn (Captivity, Hostel Part II, Saw IV) I. All the horrible excuses for horror films |
|
|
RAZZIE Dirty Dozen: Battlefield Earth, F G Fingered, Pluto Nash, A Sound of Thunder, Alone in the Dark, Dirty Love, Rise Silver Srfr, Daddy Day Camp, IKWKM, The Love Guru, All About Steve, Airbender
