WHEN the TRAILER for a SUPPOSED "THRILLER" ELLICITS SNICKERS and GUFFAWS in THEATRES, THAT's USUALLY a PRETTY GOOD RAZZIE® INDICATOR... WHEN the DIRECTOR IS MOVING UP from HELMING TV SHOWS to DOING HIS FIRST FEATURE, THAT's OFTEN AT LEAST a GOOD RAZZIE® INDICATOR... WHEN ONE of the WRITERS IS a PRIOR WORST SCREENPLAY NOMINEE, THAT's ALMOST ALWAZE a SURE-FIRE RAZZIE® INDICATOR... AND WHEN the TOP-LINED STAR IS SOMEONE of WHOM WE'RE CONSTANTLY BEING ASKED "WHY HASN'T SHE BEEN a WORST ACTRESS NOMINEE YET?" the ODDS of the FILM BEING a RAZZIE® CONTENDER SKY-ROCKET. OBSESSED IS an INEPT CROSS-BREEDING of THAT 1980s BOX OFFICE BONANZA FATAL ATTRACTION with THAT 1990s RAZZIE® CLASSIC BODY of EVIDENCE -- IN OTHER WORDS, ANY SERIOUS RAZZIE® VOTER CAN'T WAIT to SEE IF IT's AS LAUGH-OUT-LOUD LUDICROUS AS ITS PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS PROMISED. FEEL FREE to JOIN the CHORUS of CACKLES GREETING OBSESSED -- POTENTIALLY 2009's MOST HIGH-OCTANE HI-LARIOUS HIGH CONCEPT "THRILLER"...

Much like the classic "Go directly to jail, do not pass GO, do not collect $200" Monopoly card, this movie should get a "Do not be #1 at the box office, go directly to DVD, expect to be be all over the Razzie voting ballot" card...

I happen to like Beyoncé as an actress, and she has been good in just about everything I've seen her in (except "The Pink Panther"). She is maturing into someone who has talent, rather than encouraging everyone to just focus on her singing career.

Her song, "Halo" is the most addicting song. I will listen to it 10 times in one sitting. As for the movie, this is honestly the most anticipated movie I want to see so far. I need to see it. The previews look amazing and no, this is not sarcasm. This will be the best movie ever!

This movie will get some box office attention, just by virtue of having Beyonce... I think that might get a small crowd in and of itself... But Beyonce Fighting with Ali Larter? I know many, many men that will go just to see them go at it...

Not all singers turned actors are created equal. Frank Sinatra and Barbra Steisand come to mind as two who excelled in both areas. Mariah Carey and Madonna both fell short. When it comes to acting, Beyonce is more Carey than Steisand. "Austin Powers: In Gold Member", nothing special, any black actress could have been in that role. "Dreamgirls", she was way overshadowed by Jennifer Hudson. "Pink Panther", she was far from being the saving grace of that movie. This movie ... looks like the hightlight will be a cat fight between her and Ali Larter. Ah, poor Ali. Ten years ago, she become famous for the whipped cream bikini, and now her career has ended up here. I watch this trailer and all I do is laugh. It's just "Fatal Attraction", minus the boiling bunny. Stick to the singing booth, Beyonce, let actual trained black actresses star in movies for once.

I really hate that singers in general feel that they need to be actors, too. They have enough money already. I blame Elvis.

Actually I think the far worse thing is actors who think they can sing...or perhaps, the Oscar-caliber actors who decide that acting is no longer for them, and wish to start up a careers as rappers...

Okay, I don't really see women headbutting each other as legit excuse to run out and pay money to waste 90 minutes of my life for a movie that's already been done before 20 or 30 years ago. I could rent any number of low budget, indie flicks or downloaded clips off the Internet to see that sort of thing.

I'd like to see women use The Crucifix Powerbomb more often in fights. (No, it's not a religious move.)
