I'm dumbfounded.  I mean, it's an old saw to say that the book was better than the movie.  But to say that the book was better than the movie even though the one who adapted the book for the movie was the author himself?  I think I'm gonna need a little help getting my jaw off the floor. . . .

It should be noted that the book from which this movie was adapted received favorable reviews, such as this one from The L.A. Times...

I just saw it. For your consideration:
-Worst Actor for Benjamin Walker.
-Worst Supp. Actor for Anthony Mackie (also for MAN ON A LEDGE).
-Worst New Star for Benjamin Walker.
-Worst Remake/Sequel.
-Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie.
-Worst Picture.

I won't say if it deserves Worst Screenplay until I do some research about the novel it's based on.

The ending scene of this movie (which was pretty much the only few minutes I liked about Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter) has gotten me so excited about Spielberg's Lincoln. I love period pieces, and I've been to Vicksburg. 

I'm wondering if it will play a role in the subject of the up-coming movie. Man, I cannot wait!

As I've just discovered today, the premise of this movie is about to be repeated in real (or should I say 'reel') life since potential Razzie contender 'Twilight Breaking Wind Fart 2' is going head to head in the cinemas with a certain other movie (for a limited time only).
You see in this filmmaking world there's two types of people my friend. Those with the knowledge of film and those who think they do but really don't.

I'd say no -- There's way worse things out there. When you put it next to The Devil Inside, Battleship, One For The Money, A Thousand Words, and/or This Means War, it looks out of place.

I've finally seen it, and it was... actually decent! For a movie about Abraham Lincoln killing vampires, the acting is good. The action scenes are good, mainly because of Timur Bekmambetov's direction. The script is a mess, but not bad enought to ruin the experience.
