Again -- Tom Cruise for War of Worlds? I didn't care for the movie, but he was no way bad in it.

These nominees are messed up!

Tom Cruise for War of Worlds had less to do with his performance in the movie, and more to do with his insane couch jumping on "Oprah." But he was not someone I would've nominated either.

To be honest, I didn't think Revenge of the Sith, War of the Worlds [remake], or Kicking & Screaming were bad enough to be nominated as the worst 2005 had to offer. The nominations as a whole could've done better with a wider selection of films.
When Grand Theft Auto revolutionized the "sandbox" gameplay style, it also agitated politicians everywhere. Should a film adaptation be so hideously violent...

I think "Alone In The Dark" and/or "BloodRayne" came out this year -- One or both of those should have swept!

RESPONSE from Head RAZZberry: ALONE IN THE DARK was this same year, and if you'll check the nominations above, you'll see that it was a contender for Worst Director and Worst Actress. BTW: Have you ever seen DIRTY LOVE????

BLOODRAYNE was the following year, and was nominated for multiple RAZZIES®, including Worst Picture (LINK)...

If you had to nominate Will Ferrell, it should've been only for KICKING & SCREAMING. He was good in BEWITCHED. In fact, that movie wasn't bad at all. Although Ferrell and Nicole Kidman didn't go very well together.

Rob Shnaider and Hayden Christensen deserved it, though.
M. Night Shyamalan is my favorite filmmaker. Please don't hate me.

What did other people like about Bewitched that the RAZZIES didn't? And why were Kicking & Screaming, War of the Worlds, and Revenge of the Sith nominated?

Even though the STAR WARS prequels had good reviews they disappointed fans, so most of the Razzie voters must be fans?

Or, the Razzie voters were among the critics that hated it. Granted, critics didn't rip the prequels apart like they just did with "Last Fartbender" but by no means did they love it to death either.
